Welcome to the journal. Our editorial mission is simple: publish trustworthy, impactful research and help authors develop the skills to produce it consistently. We prioritize originality, methodological rigor, and clinical relevance, with a particular interest in work that improves patient safety, strengthens clinical governance, and informs health policy in South Asia and other low- and middle-income settings.
Publishing is only one part of our remit. Through training, mentorship, and clear guidance, we aim to demystify scholarly writing and peer review for early-career researchers and busy clinicians alike. We are steadfast on research integrity—plagiarism screening, ethical approvals, and transparent reporting are non-negotiable. I encourage you to submit your best work, engage as a reviewer, and join our community committed to advancing evidence-based, equitable healthcare.
